I’m the Founder & Creative Director behind ByCherryMedia, with a background in AAA localisation and a love for gaming and cinematic storytelling.

After nearly 4 years working across large production teams and major publishers, I transitioned into creative video work full-time building a studio driven by quality, reliability and results.

Today, I specialise in trailers, gameplay edits and social content. We help developers present their games in the most compelling way possible.

I’m a graphic designer with a strong focus on illustration and branding, and I love creating visual identities and graphics that feel thoughtful, expressive, and on-brand. I enjoy developing ideas from concept through to final design, especially when storytelling and creativity are at the centre of a project. Having worked across different industries, I bring a flexible approach and a fresh perspective to my work. I’m detail-driven, curious about design trends, and always keen to learn and grow.

Outside of design, I enjoy gaming, which influences my problem-solving skills, visual thinking, and appreciation for immersive worlds and strong visual narratives.

I was born and raised in South Africa, and I’ve been passionate about video games since I was young.

I’m excited to be part of this team as an editor, focusing on creative editing something I’ve contributed to in the past and genuinely enjoy.

MUSIC COMPOSER

Hi, I’m Paul! 😁

After years of writing music as a hobby, I decided to move into the world of media composing after watching a Youtube video that piqued my interest.

Fast forward to today, I have written music for multiple developers, producers and directors spanning video games and film. I create original music and sound design tailored specifically to each project’s tone, world, and audience.

The work I do with ByCherryMedia spans cinematic trailers, in-game themes, and promotional soundtracks, always with a focus on emotional impact and narrative support. I care deeply about how music shapes player perception and how it can add an additional emotional layer to what is happening on screen.

I love collaborating with visual creators to elevate each piece beyond what either medium could achieve alone.
